Introduction

The Raider Mat Club was founded in 2003. This youth wrestling progam is for children in kindergarden through sixth grade. It is an excellent activity that teaches kids teamwork, sportsmanship and discipline.

Anyone interested in wrestling in additional tournaments not on our schedule can find more information on our tournaments page. If you are interested in attending any of these tournaments and would like to have a coach accompany you please let us know at least 2 weeks ahead of time so that we can make arrangements.

PRACTICES

(There is no practice during the Christmas/New Year holiday break. Practice will resume for K-1 on Tues, 1/3 at 7:00 and for Gr 2-6 on Wed, 1/4 at 7:00. First Match is Friday, 1/6 away at Wilson!)

RAIDER MAT CLUB PRACTICE SCHEDULE:

Grades 2-6 practice Mondays & Wednesdays, 7:00-8:15.

Grades K-1 practice Tuesdays, 7:00-8:00.

**Grades K-1 are encouraged to attend a practice on Mondays or Wednesdays from 7:00-8:00...all wrestlers are welcome to attend at least 2 practices per week.

Please report to practice 10 minutes early to prepare for prompt warm-up at 7:00 sharp!

DONATIONS

If anyone has gently-used wrestling shoes and/or headgear that they would like to donate, please bring to practice for distribution! All donations are greatly appreciated...THANK YOU FOR YOUR DONATIONS!!
